The Day Centre building is now debt free thanks to the above donations..
ANSWER received additional funding to build an extension to the foyer area and this cost in the region of £30,000. The new foyer reduces heat loss at the main entrance and provides additional space for wheelchairs. £5,000 was been donated by Garfield Weston Family, WG Edwards Foundation donated £5,000, the Queensberry Trust donated £10,000 , the Hugh Fraser Foundation donated £4,000 and W.O. Street £2,500. Finally an anonymous Trust donated £4,000.
A grant of £1,000 was given to the project in July '08 for revenue costs by the Souter Foundation and a further £1,000 in September 2009.
A recent fundraising evening realised £679 and this was supplemented by a further £500 by Royal Bank of Scotland staff.
West Lothian Council has increased the annual grant to ANSWER Day Care by 2.75% for the year 2009-2010.

Sony Entertainments have donated £2,500 to ANSWER following the success of Susan Boyle's new CD which includes the song Cry me a River which featured on the Millennium Compilation of local performers the proceeds of which came to ANSWER in 2001.
The Robertson Trust donated £5,000 towards our Day Care revenue funds in June 2010
Ladbrokes gave a donation of £5,000 in May 2011
£1,400 was raised at the Home Aid community thrift shop in July 2011
Brian Dall and friends raised over £2,000 at the Edinburgh Marathon in June 2011
Robertson Trust has agreed to fund the project at £7,500 per year for the the next three years.
West Lothian Community Development Trust have agreed to donate £8, 225 towards the installation of Solar Panels at the Centre.
